Tiempo de protrombina e INR en recién nacidos de madres preeclámpticas

Objective: To know if there is alteration of the PT and INR in newborns of mothers with diagnosis of the pre-eclampsia. Material and methods: It is akind study cross-sectional, descriptive, retrospective and observational of secondary data; the information was collected from archive of medical records of patients, who were tests of PT and INR on neonates, whose mothers were admitted with the diagnosis of pre-eclampsia. Results: From the total of 207 records of lab tests respect to PT and INR, realized on newborns preclampticas mother´s: For the TP ,the 86.47% (179) was normal and the 13.53% (28) was lenghty; while for the INR the 53.62% (111) wasnormal and the 46.38% (96) was lengthy. Conclutions: Not all children preeclampticas mother's present alteration of the PT and INR, even there are many false positives given the lack of standardization of normal values, to the consideration of clinical manifestations and characteristics of the newborn that they can help a better diagnosis.
